The British and Irish Lions will hope to secure a 3-0 series whitewash over Australia when they face the Wallabies in the third Test in Sydney on Saturday.

Andy Farrell's side won the first Test 27-19 in Brisbane before sealing the series at Melbourne Cricket Ground in front of a record Lions crowd of more than 90,000 last Saturday.

Hugo Keenan scored a last-minute try as Farrell's side fought back from 23-5 down to snatch victory and record the biggest comeback in Lions Test history.

For team news, the main talking points and how to follow it on BBC Sport - here's all you need to know.

What is at stake for the Lions?

Farrell's side are aiming to become the first Lions team since 1927 in Argentina to record a series whitewash.

Victory would also see them emulate the legendary team of 1974 who won the first three Tests of their four-match series against South Africa.

The Lions have won all eight matches they have played on Australian soil during the 2025 tour and are seeking to finish with a 100% record.

The 1974 side went 22 matches unbeaten, winning every match until they drew the final Test of an epic series.

The Wallabies will be looking to show that the stirring backs-to-the-wall performance in the second Test was not a one-off, but something to build on as they prepare for the start of the Rugby Championship.

Meanwhile, Joe Schmidt’s Wallabies have rung the changes, with several forced by injury. Nic White returns for a final appearance in the gold jersey, partnering Tom Lynagh in the halves. Dylan Pietsch earns a start on the wing, replacing Harry Potter, while Tom Hooper steps in for Rob Valetini in the back row. Taniela Tupou starts at tighthead prop, with veteran James Slipper set for his 147th Test cap - just one shy of Richie McCaw’s 148.

For the Lions, 11 players will start all three Tests, including Tadhg Furlong and Maro Itoje, each set to play their ninth consecutive Lions Test. For Australia, it’s a chance to salvage pride and send off White in style, while continuing to blood a new generation under Schmidt.
